Panel discussion on Fire Tragedy, Mumbai Hospital and way forward

Fire occurred on 25th March 2021 at 12.30 A.M, on Sunrise hospital which is situated in Dream Mall, Bhandup Area, Mumbai. It is 107 Bed hospital where Covid patient was admitted. Fire reported from first floor where shop of Home décor and imitation jewelry. Hospital is on third floor. One senior citizen and two other patients were dead on the hospital whereas 78 other patients were brought down by the fire officers by ladders and lift and shifted to other safe area by the Fire, NDRF, Police, Civil defense and with the help of local community. Out of which eleven patients who succumbed on smoke were dead while shifting to other hospital. As Covid-19 Pandemic disease is related to Lungs and breathing. Smoke from fire bring more severity in their situation. The cause of fire is a matter of investigation. Let’s join panel discussion which is based on this particular incident and come out with good solutions which we can submit to government.
